menudo se escucha el suave rumor del agua.<\/p><p>Su abundante caudal permiti\u00f3 a la localidad desarrollar una floreciente industria en sus orillas. Bat\u00e1n, trigo y aserradero, f\u00e1bricas, hilander\u00edas, hornos de cal florecieron en Cenne-Monesti\u00e9s, que fue, en el siglo XVII, una aut\u00e9ntica ciudad industrial. Pero el desv\u00edo de agua del Lampy al Canal du Midi disminuye el caudal del r\u00edo. La ciudad y sus industriales decidieron construir una presa en 1885. A\u00fan hoy, podemos ver las silenciosas chimeneas de estas f\u00e1bricas desaparecidas (un gui\u00f1o al escultor Van Binh que dej\u00f3 una de sus obras en Cenne
