The old railroad between Bram and Lavelanet is now a walking and cycling path. From hill to
hill, let’s discover the diversity of our territory, the richness of our historical heritage and the
southern way of living.
The “Voie Verte” (greenway) is a dedicated way to sustainable transport and is thus perfect
for practicing sport and leisure activities without being bothered by traffic. The quality of the
coating, signage system and the absence of gradients so you can stroll around in complete
peacefulness.
Picnic tables are available at the rest areas, as well as bike racks, benches and some
informative signs. To stock up along your travel, you’ll find some restaurants and shops in
the villages around the cycling path.
EXPÉRIENCE
Christian vous raconte son expérience.

Aujourd’hui nous avons choisi le tronçon Bram – Lignairolles, la chaine des Pyrénées en toile de fond…”

An open-air fruit conservatory ?
More than 200 fruit trees were planted along the road, including 34 species of hazelnut trees in Lavelanet and 20 species of fig trees in Bellegarde du Razès. This project was made in partnership with Atout fruit and Traverse 119, le chemin des Filatiers.
