CIRCUIT 1 – LA LAURAGAISE

Starting point: Stade de Villasavary
This lovely family-friendly route to explore Villasavary will offer you a very rolling plains to the north and a second hilly part to the south, on the edge of the woods of the Canonges.
CIRCUIT 2 – AUTOUR DU PECH (Around the Peak)
Blue | 15 km | 400m ascent
Starting point: Stade de Villasavary (a stadium in Villasavary).
On this magnificent wooded trail, you will alternate passages on ridges and in hardwood and softwood undergrowth. From Mont Carrière, 4 orientation tables will describe a 360-degree panorama.
CIRCUIT 3 – LA FORESTIERE (The Forest)
Blue | 23 km | 500m ascent
This route will take you to the Cassaigne, a pretty medieval village, and after admiring a striking panorama of the Lauragais Plain, it will lead you to Besplas, the first farm school in France in the 19th century.
CIRCUIT 4 – LES CATHARES The Cathars)
Red | 30 km | 710m ascent
Starting point: Stade de Villasavary or the Tourist Office in Fanjeaux
This challenging and sportive trail from the medieval city of Fanjeaux will take you to Laurac-le-Grand, the historic capital of the Lauragais.
You will return via the winding single tracks of the Bois des Communaux woods.
CIRCUIT 5 – LE CHEMIN DE DOMINIQUE (The Way of Dominic)
Red | 29 km | 480m ascent
Starting point: Place de la République in Montréal or the Tourist Office in Fanjeaux.
Following in the footsteps of Saint Dominic, a major figure in the history of Catharism in the Languedoc, this rolling route connects Montréal, in the heart of the Malepère vineyard, to Fanjeaux, at the gateway to the Piège. A trail without great difficulty, which takes place mainly on country lanes through woods and vineyards and on an old railway line.
CIRCUIT 6 – DE PECH EN PECH (From Peak to Peak)
Black| 55 km | 1250m ascent
Starting point: Chapelle St.Christol in Fonters-du-Razès or the Office de Tourisme in Fanjeaux or the Stade de Villasavary.
This circuit can be shortened by 22 km.
Long, technical and marked out by the chapel of Fonters-du-Razès and Cazalrenoux Church (Romanesque buildings, 12th century), this loop in the heart of the hills of the Piège will delight the most athletic.
